The Solar Guild is an early-stage public-purpose institution. SGUILD is its Objective and action platform. SGUILD helps people and organizations define a real need, agree on scope and terms, do the work, and verify the result.
It is one mechanism for helping people and communities improve the systems they depend on. What proves useful can be carried forward as public capacity for people now and generations we will never meet.
Declare SolarThis is an adopted institutional direction. Some features are usable now. Repeated public benefit, independent governance, enforceable succession, self-sustaining value return, and long-term continuity are not yet established. No match, job, project, or outcome is promised.
The Solar Guild’s architecture, three public surfaces, fifteen current Garden directions, and four capability-network directions are defined. Fifteen Gardens are publicly listed here; some public routes, account features, and preparation methods are usable now.
The first workplace Objective is under validation. Three other founding tests—a small-business Objective, a coordination test, and a compensated capability Objective—remain unproved and require their own beneficiary, permission, success criteria, and stop condition.
Repeated institutional results, enforceable Farm continuity, independent governance, and a completed Weaver Path are not yet proved.
The Solar Guild is bootstrap-first and proof-before-scale: useful work should earn another cycle before larger support is treated as justified. A completed, documented value-return cycle—not a funding pitch—is the current unit of credibility.
Contributors can prosper on fair, declared terms. After operating costs, taxes, and declared obligations, any residual value and reusable capacity are intended to remain aligned with the institution and support further public benefit rather than private capture.
No completed self-sustaining cycle, repeated public return, or enforceable anti-capture structure is yet proved. Founder capital and unpaid labor must be recorded separately from earned external revenue, and the receipt must record zero residual when none exists.
Useful work often disappears when a project ends.
The Farm of Gardens is designed to keep worthwhile services, programs, ventures, and tools going when they still serve the public, with someone clearly responsible for each.
The Weaver Path sits within the Systemic Integration Garden. It is being designed to develop the ability to understand, operate, maintain, diagnose, improve, recover, and hand off human-machine systems through bounded practice, evidence, and human review.
Weaver Practical is designed but not yet runnable as a complete program; Weaver Mastery remains proposed.
It is not an accredited degree, license, or promise of work.
Four capability-network directions support different forms of contribution. Three formal networks use reviewed, highly selective, non-mutually exclusive application paths: Community Impact Alliance focuses on adoption and partnerships; Amaborg Mechanized Systems on dependable systems and operations; Emergent Research Group on research and human experience.
The Volunteer Force is the open civic-duty capability network. Anyone who wants to engage in lawful civic duty has the right to begin. Trust levels govern responsibility, sensitive access, and authority—not admission. Its participation pathway is in development, and it claims no public authority.
Each formal-network application is reviewed separately and does not by itself grant membership, access, confidential information, or institutional authority.
Before commitment, make the result, roles, decision rights, timing, access, compensation or volunteer status, ownership, data use, privacy, review, and stop conditions clear.
A conversation or proposal does not commit either side to further work.
An Objective is a specific desired result with named beneficiaries, accountable ownership, evidence, and a completion, renewal, or handoff condition.
Before work begins, the result, terms, decision-maker, definition of done, and record of what was demonstrated should be clear.

The Expectation Brief is a private preparation tool designed to help someone confirm what matters, ask a neutral clarification question, and support steady, reliable execution with less avoidable friction. This first Objective remains under validation.

Why it matters: When responsibility is split across designers, manufacturers, sellers, and service providers, each can blame another while customers absorb failures, replacement costs, and waste.

Why it matters: Nuclear-energy decisions shape safety, reliability, cost, and the environment for decades, yet the evidence is often buried beneath polarized advocacy. The public needs a clear record of the claims, assumptions, tradeoffs, and uncertainty.
Objective: Create children’s stories and media that strengthen reasoning, historical understanding, virtue, and principled action.
Why it matters: Children learn how to interpret claims, choices, and consequences through stories long before formal instruction begins. Stories can help them practice judgment without turning childhood into a test.

Why it matters: Public-purpose software becomes fragile when only a few insiders know how to build, deploy, and maintain it. Clear contribution boundaries let more people help without sacrificing quality or accountability.
Objective: Develop and test “lossless” compression for English: fewer words without losing meaning, precision, or voice.
Why it matters: Important writing wastes time and creates errors when readers must dig through repetition to recover the point. Lossless compression can reduce that burden without sacrificing substance, precision, or voice.
Objective: Develop standards and evidence-review methods for a future independent standards body.
Why it matters: Standards cannot earn public trust when the people who benefit from an outcome can write the rules, judge compliance, and control appeals. Independence must be built into the structure, not merely claimed.
Objective: Improve complete systems by making people, processes, information, tools, maintenance, and handoffs work together.
Why it matters: Complex systems often fail at the seams, where every part has an owner but no one owns the whole outcome. Improvement must address the connections, not just optimize each part.
Objective: Help worthwhile work reach the people who can use, evaluate, fund, and sustain it.
Why it matters: Useful work often dies because it is never translated into the evidence, cost, risk, and ownership terms that buyers, funders, and partners need to act.
Objective: Expand public libraries into shared infrastructure for tools, equipment, and practical capability.
Why it matters: Public libraries were built when information was scarce. Information is now far easier to access, while useful tools and equipment remain expensive and out of reach.
Objective: Build one responsible marketplace where people and organizations can offer lawful products, services, rentals, leases, work, and other useful offers.
Why it matters: Online marketplaces divide commerce across platforms whose reputation and protections rarely travel with the user, forcing people to rebuild trust across categories.
