Terms of Service

Rules for using SGUILD

Operating terms

These terms set the baseline rules for using SGUILD public pages and the private organizational platform of The Solar Guild. They are written for serious contributors, teams, employers, workers, and administrators who need trustworthy coordination infrastructure.

Effective date: July 11, 2026

Use of the platform

  • SGUILD provides account workspaces, member records, charters, messages, and operational tools for coordination and institutional memory.
  • You may use the platform only for lawful, authorized, and good-faith activity. Do not use it to harass, defraud, exploit, spam, or interfere with other people or organizations.
  • Do not submit malicious code, credential dumps, private keys, payment-card data, health records, or other high-risk regulated data unless The Solar Guild has expressly approved that use in writing.
  • The founding-period Work & Career Conversation intake is for adults 18 and older. Do not submit another person’s private information, identity documents, medical information, or confidential employer material.

Accounts and access

  • You are responsible for keeping your account credentials, passkeys, and multi-factor authentication devices secure.
  • Organization owners and administrators are responsible for inviting the right people, assigning appropriate roles, and removing access when it is no longer needed.
  • We may suspend or restrict access when we reasonably believe an account is compromised, misused, unlawful, or harmful to the platform or its participants.

Organizational records

  • Charters, member profiles, roles, ranks, positions, audit events, and related workspace records are operational records created by users or administrators.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy and authority of records you create, approve, edit, or rely on.
  • The Solar Guild may preserve audit and security records to protect users, investigate incidents, enforce these terms, and maintain platform integrity.

Content and conduct

  • You retain responsibility for content you submit. You grant The Solar Guild the limited rights needed to host, process, display, secure, back up, and operate that content within the service.
  • Do not post content that is unlawful, invasive of privacy, defamatory, threatening, exploitative, or intended to disrupt another person or organization.
  • The platform is designed for accountable institutional work. Pseudonymous, misleading, or automated activity may be limited when it undermines trust or safety.

Security research

  • Do not probe, scan, fuzz, scrape, automate, or attack the platform without written permission, except for normal use of public pages and your own account.
  • If you believe you found a vulnerability, report it through the contact page with enough detail to reproduce it. Do not access data that is not yours.
  • We may preserve technical logs, audit events, request identifiers, and related forensic data when investigating security issues.

Work & Career Conversations

  • A Work & Career Conversation is a no-fee, capacity-managed public service. A complete request is reviewed, but no particular scheduling date, job, placement, introduction, result, or continuing service is promised.
  • The conversation offers serious listening, clarification of one question, candid feedback when requested, and one practical next step. It is not legal, financial, medical, mental-health, labor, employment, or licensed career advice.
  • Career support creates no candidate profile, employer-facing record, employer contact, matching service, or employer introduction. Submitting a career question does not authorize The Solar Guild to send your information to an employer or represent you as a candidate.
  • Optional research permission is separate from service. It does not authorize individual profiling, employment decisions, employer contact, or publication of your story.

No professional advice

The Solar Guild may support coordination, records, dispute context, and decision workflows, but it does not provide legal, tax, financial, employment, labor, medical, or safety advice. You remain responsible for decisions that require professional judgment or regulated expertise.

Availability and changes

  • The platform is evolving. Features may change, be limited, or be removed as security, reliability, and product needs change.
  • We aim to maintain reliable service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation.
  • We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.
