Cookie Policy

How browser storage supports authentication, security, and preferences

Cookie and local storage policy

SGUILD uses cookies and similar browser storage for sign-in, security, preferences, and reliable operation. External services involved in those functions may set or process essential storage under their own policies.

Effective date: July 11, 2026

What cookies and storage do

Cookies are small browser records. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and provider-managed browser state. They help the platform remember who is signed in, which locale or workspace is selected, and whether security flows are working correctly.

Essential platform storage

  • Authentication and session cookies used to keep users signed in and protect private pages.
  • Security and anti-abuse state used for redirects, multi-factor verification, passkeys, OAuth callbacks, and request validation.
  • Locale, theme, layout, and last-selected workspace preferences used to make the interface stable across visits.

Operational and security data

  • Limited technical data may be processed to route requests, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and protect accounts.
  • Security records may include browser, device, network, and event details needed for incident response and fraud prevention.
  • Access and retention are limited to operational, legal, and security needs.

Third-party services

  • SGUILD uses external services for functions such as account access, application delivery, data storage, security, and, when enabled, payments.
  • Those services process data only as needed to provide the relevant function and according to their own terms and privacy policies.
  • Any non-essential browser storage is subject to the controls and disclosures described in this policy.

Your controls

  • You can block or delete cookies in your browser, but essential features such as sign-in, passkeys, account switching, and protected pages may stop working.
  • You can sign out to clear active application sessions where supported.
  • If you have questions about browser storage or data retention, use the contact page.
