Sense · Selective capability network

Emergent Research Group

Emergent Research Group studies weak signals, lived experience, overlooked needs, and unintended effects so decisions improve before assumptions harden into systems.

Applications open

Admission standard
Finds important reality early and communicates it without distortion or performance.
What to bring
A question, observation, experiment, synthesis, artistic lens, or user insight that can inform a named decision.

Admission is highly selective. Membership is non-mutually exclusive, so acceptance here does not prevent someone from joining another capability network. Each application is reviewed separately. Applying grants no automatic membership, access, authority, or confidential information. It grants no right to represent The Solar Guild. Capability-network membership is not required. People may participate in The Solar Guild without it.

Current scope

Work this network coordinates.

Research and observation

Ask grounded questions, observe with consent, gather relevant evidence, and make uncertainty visible.

Experience and systems analysis

Trace friction, incentives, expectations, and second-order effects across the people who encounter a system.

Synthesis and expression

Use analysis, philosophy, narrative, and art to communicate reality in forms that improve understanding and action.

Notice one thing that could change a named decision by a stated deadline.

Start with a question, observation, friction review, synthesis, or creative lens. Record what you saw and how you know, then request greater responsibility when the work sharpens understanding without distortion.
